Several collapses during the Gothenburg shipyard: “Unconscious”

The Gothenburg race starts today in a sunny and warm Gothenburg with 24 degrees in the air.

But the warm weather doesn’t just bring good things with it.

GP reports that 15-17 people have collapsed during the race.

Six people have applied to the emergency room.

– They are basically unconscious. We have to carry them in, they can’t stand on their legs, says race doctor Per Eriksson when GP asks how the runners are doing.

In total, over 50,000 are taking part in the race, which was won by Kenyans Moses Koech, 26, on the men’s side, and Janet Ruguru, 30, on the women’s side.
