The World Health Organization (WHO) says that six people, including four children, have been injured in an attack on a polio vaccination center in Gaza.
“We have received extremely disturbing reports” that the center in northern Gaza was hit on Saturday while parents were taking their children there, WHO Secretary-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus writes on X without going into who is behind the attack.
He writes that the incident took place in an area where a humanitarian pause had been agreed to allow vaccination.
