Several people have been arrested in the Western port in Malmö after a police operation.
– We have had an investigation case there. Some people have been arrested. I currently cannot go into what the case is about, says Fredrik Bratt, press spokesman for the police.
According to information to TV4 News, a witness must have seen a man lose a gun when he stepped out of a taxi. A house search must also have taken place in connection with the operation, which is being investigated as a weapons offense. Five people have been detained, the youngest should be in their upper teens and the oldest at the age of 25.
The incident occurred at 15 o’clock and no person was injured.
– There is also no danger to the public, says Fredrik Bratt.
