Seven people are sentenced for involvement in the Easter coup in Rinkeby last year, reports SVT Nyheter Stockholm.
Three of the people are convicted of sabotage against blue light operations, while four people are convicted of gross sabotage against blue light operations. All persons, except one, are sentenced to imprisonment from six months to two years and six months. A person – who is a minor – is sentenced to youth supervision for six months.
The crimes the people are convicted of occurred in connection with Rasmus Paludan’s Koran burning in Rinkeby at Easter 2022, when riots broke out.
In addition to the seven convicted persons, the Solna district court chose to acquit two persons, who were charged with involvement in the riots.
