The first alarm came in at 19.30, says Sebastian Levin, guard officer at the rescue service. Then there was an accident that occurred at the height of Vagnhärad.
– Arriving in place we could see that four cars were involved in some kind of crash, but there should be no serious personal injury, he says and continues:
– Later we received an alarm that there are more accidents on the same route a little further ahead.
All accidents have occurred in a northbound direction, towards Stockholm.
– It is very slippery at the site, so it has been difficult to get there.
He states that you have not turned off the road, and that it is possible to get ahead, but says that they will slow down traffic and that there is therefore a risk of queue formation.
It is estimated that traffic will be able to flow as usual in about an hour.
Several cars will need to be carried from the site.
