SMHI has issued several yellow warnings on Boxing Day. Among other things, heavy snowfall in southern Småland and the Jämtlandsfjällen.
In large parts of the country, there are patches of slippery or packed snow. In and around Uppsala, the area around Kalmar, south of Skellefteå and in western Värmland, the Swedish Transport Administration warns of difficult road conditions.
In almost all of Sweden, apart from Skåne, Västergötland and north of Örebro, there is a risk of icy conditions.
Several traffic accidents
Several accidents occurred during the day.
Among other things, there have been four single accidents in a short time. One north of Kil, Värmland, a single accident in Malmö, one on the E4 north of Örnsköldsvik and one north of Rydaholm, Småland.
The extent of the injuries to those involved is still unclear. There have been no reports of fatalities.
