Seven people have been taken to hospital for treatment after a fire in an apartment building in Bredäng in southern Stockholm. About 40 people have been evacuated using ladder trucks, according to Greater Stockholm’s fire service.
The fire is believed to have started in an apartment on the fourth floor and the alarm about it came in at half past two on Sunday night.
The fire should now be under control, but there is a big effort on site, says Adam Alm, command operator at Greater Stockholm’s fire brigade.
The assessment is that there is no one left in the house.
