Seven people injured in traffic accident

Seven people have been injured in a traffic accident on Ekerö west of Stockholm.
Two of them have been taken to hospital by ambulance helicopter.
– We have started a preliminary investigation regarding gross drunk driving and causing bodily harm, says police spokesperson Wikdahl.

The alarm about the accident came in at 17.53 on Thursday.

It concerns a head-on collision between two cars at an intersection on Ekerövägen in Närlunda

– According to our initial information, two vehicles must be involved in the accident, says Daniel Wikdahl.

A total of seven people have been injured.

Police: “Man suspected of crime”

– Two of them have been taken to hospital in an ambulance helicopter.

A preliminary investigation regarding serious drunken driving and causing bodily harm has been initiated.

– A man is suspected of crime after blowing positively into the police screening instrument.

According to the police, access to the accident scene is limited due to the incident.

At present, no one is in custody.
