Seven people are being treated in hospital after the accident at Gröna Lund – both children and adults

The Jetline ride derailed at Gröna Lund during the morning and, according to witnesses, several people were thrown from the carriage and fell helplessly to the ground from a very high height.

The park was quickly evacuated after the accident and both the police, the rescue service, ambulances and an ambulance helicopter came to the scene.

Gröna Lund’s information manager Annika Troselius tells TV4 News that at least two people were found injured on the ground after the accident. Moa Hummelgård, officer on duty at the rescue service, confirms for The evening paper that there are several people who have fallen out of the attraction.

It is currently still unclear what caused the accident, but the park will remain closed until it is investigated, Annika Troselius states.
