It was at 11 o’clock on Midsummer’s Eve that a total of seven cars collided on the highway. No person should have been injured, but the accident has a major impact on traffic.
It is currently unclear whether both lanes have been closed or whether motorists can pass. The police have no forecast for when their work will be completed.
– We currently do not know how many cars need to be salvaged, but it has a major impact on traffic, this is a heavily trafficked stretch so there will be queues quickly, says police spokesperson Anna Göransson.
