A 35-year-old man is sentenced to five years in prison for, among other things, arson, after he set fire to a car company in Uddevalla last March. The man’s DNA was found on a can inside the company, writes Bohusläningen.

Several cars were destroyed in the extensive fire, but the building itself could be saved. No one was injured.

In addition to the DNA find, the police found several other important items near the crime scene, including a glove and a balaclava (masking cap).

The man has previously worked at another car company in Uddevalla. In addition to the arson, he is also convicted of 18 cases of extortion, six cases of attempted extortion and serious doping and drug offences.
