Our guests want to go elsewhere. Nicola Son releases her 5th album Pas de Panique, a new album which keeps the imprint of bossa and Lena Deluxe wanders around the gamelan archipelago to produce the album Santaï (relax in Bahasa Indonesia).
Our 1er guest is Nicola Són, who presents the album Do not panic
“Pas de Panique”, 5th album by Nicola Son, seeks inspiration beyond the Brazilian music of his first albums, flirting with reggae, cumbia, African music, in a more pop and modern spirit. Nicola Són was born in Paris, but lived in Brazil for several years until 2018. Since his first album, he has earned the title of “the most Brazilian of French singers” from the Brazilian media. After a trilogy where he explored the rhythmic particularities of different regions of Brazil, a 4th album – Piaf do Brasil – in the form of a rereading of Édith Piaf’s greatest hits, Nicola Són releases “Pas de Panique” in 2023. This 5th album, seeks inspiration beyond the Brazilian music of his first albums, flirting with reggae, cumbia, African music, in a more pop and modern spirit. Nicola Són’s challenge is always to make French song swing, drawing inspiration from music from elsewhere, as Gainsbourg managed to do in his time in his first albums (Nº2, Nº4 and Percussions).
Accompanied by the same Brazilian producer, Márcio Arantes (winner of the Latin Grammy Awards in 2021), who produced his hit “Amanhã já era” – playlist France Inter 2018, Nova Tunes 3.8, FIP, Cosmo in Germany) – Nicola Són therefore presents a resolutely French, Latin and pop album.

Then we receive Lena Deluxe, for the release of the album Santai
Lena Deluxe is a singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, originally from Roubaix. His passion and the magic of encounters led him to be noticed by the American producer Henry Hirsch (Lenny Kravitz, Mick Jagger, Madonna…) who suggested that he record his first album in New York in a church transformed into a studio entirely analog. This first album “Mirror for heroes” was released in May 2015. After touring her album “Mirror For Heroes”, Lena decided to go on an adventure around the world in search of new inspirations. Arriving in Indonesia, she was welcomed into a community of artists in a small village near Yogyakarta. It was there that she composed and recorded her second album “Santaï” accompanied by Indonesian musicians.
