Server down for update 6.3.0 on 06.12. – All times and information

Leksand extended the winning streak beat AIK

Destiny 2 is going through a short downtime for the release of Season 19. Servers will be going offline today December 6th for update 6.3.0 on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PC and Google Stadia. MyMMO accompanies the server down and tells you when you can’t gamble.

What’s happening today in Destiny 2? This afternoon in Destiny 2, the Bungie servers will shut down for the final time in Season 18. When they go back online, the Guardians will officially start Season 19. Their new content is already eagerly awaited.

The following is already known about the new seasonal content:

  • A final epilogue finally tuned players into a possible return of Osiris with the instilled knowledge of Savathun.
  • This was spiced up with rumors from the community about Xivu Arath, Savathun’s sister, as well as the return of a well-known war spirit named Rasputin.
  • The new trailer for Season 19 is currently being eagerly awaited by the guardians.
  • The Hive Goddess of War wants to gain control of Rasputin’s network of weapons satellites. Should she succeed, she would unleash its devastating power against the Last City. To stop them, the Vanguard have authorized special covert missions using the most advanced weaponry. The agents who carry out these missions are known as Seraph.

Bungie describes the new season 19

As soon as the servers are offline, MeinMMO will also keep you up to date on the current status of the update. You can then update this article for fresh information.

4:00 p.m.: The trailer for the new “Season of the Serapins” just went live. A huge preview of what’s to come: The Infiltrator, the Goddess of War, and the Machine.

3:30 p.m.: The servers just went offline. A little earlier than planned, but most Guardians were prepared for that. Now it’s time to wait. The new release trailer should go live in a few hours.

Maintenance on 06.12. – All times and server down

Bungie already set the exact update times for today last week. These have since been adjusted somewhat so that the information from the “This Week at Bungie” blog is no longer up-to-date. However, we offer you all the information here with the current and German times. So you can plan your gaming day better today, because the server down for the update starts early this afternoon.

    All times at a glance:

  • At 2:00 p.m. German time, maintenance work will start in the background on all platforms.
  • From 3:30 p.m. the servers will go offline and you will be automatically kicked out of all activities.
  • Around 6:00 p.m. the servers should go online again and the update 6.3.0 for Season 19 should then also be made available on all platforms and regions.
  • The maintenance work is still running in the background and is scheduled to end around 7:00 p.m.
  • Important: Even if you have loaded the potential update and are back in-game, you may still experience connection issues until the end of maintenance at 7:00 p.m. You may also have to expect queues when logging in.

Also, keep in mind that third-party applications and the official companion app may also not work properly for a while after the downtime.

That changes with Update 6.3.0 in Destiny 2

The first screen of Season 19 shows Rasputin trapped in the engram.

That brings the update today: After the 6.3.0 update, the Guardians can expect a new week, a new season, a new season pass and much more.

The changes in Season 19, which starts today, include:

Destiny 2 Stuns Players With Buff on Popular Exo-Snipers – One of the most pointless weapon changes in a long time

These are the known issues: There are still known issues that are currently plaguing the game. The fixes may be part of the new update that could go live alongside the new content.

  • Enemies no longer spawn when entering the Starlight Chamber Lost Sector too quickly.
  • Player name changes are not customizable through bungie.net. Players are still waiting for the option to change their player name multiple times instead of just once.
  • Important note on the additional mod slot of the “Elaborate Armor”

In the past there were always problems with the 5th mod slot of the ornate armor.

The best armor in Destiny 2 is rare and broken – Indiana Jones bug causes trouble

Artifact mods could cause problems because of the known error with the “Elaborate Armor” because they are lost at the start of the season and you then no longer have a 5 mod slot.

Our recommendation is: Before the start of Season 19, remove the old artifacts from the additional mod slot before the servers go offline.

If you encounter any other issues with the game, it is recommended that you report them directly through the official Bungie Help forums to make the developers aware of them as well.

Patch notes for update 6.3.0 from 06.12. in Destiny 2

What’s in the patch notes? Bungie publishes the comprehensive list of all changes to Hotfix 6.3.0 in the form of patch notes. Traditionally, this happens fairly quickly after the servers have come back online.
