Maintenance on 16.07. – All times for server down

These times are important today: Bungie is informing its players about the exact downtime via x.com (formerly Twitter). The plan is for the servers to be unavailable for 3:15 hours today.

This is the maintenance schedule:

  • Background maintenance will start at 3:00 p.m. on all platforms.
  • At around 3:45 p.m. the servers go offline. Players are automatically kicked out of the game.
  • The shooter should be back online at 7 p.m. and you can log in again.
  • The maintenance will then continue in the background until 9:00 p.m.
  • This must be taken into account during downtimes: While the background maintenance is running, you may experience connection problems in the game. In addition, queues can sometimes form when logging in because Bungie only releases access to the servers gradually to avoid problems caused by excessive server load. You may therefore have to wait longer before you can get back into the game.

Also, keep in mind that third-party applications and the official Companion app may also be down for a while, preventing you from using them.

This changes with the new update in Echoes: Act 2

The following problems are known: There are also many problems in The Final Shape that players are complaining about. Bungie has a few on its list, but it is not known which of them will be fixed (via bungie.net). However, the following bugs could be addressed:

  • For PC players with 3D audio enabled, in-game audio will not work.
  • When crafting class-specific Exotic Glaives, the error code “Weasel” appears.
  • When playing on PlayStation with 3D audio enabled, the audio output does not work.
  • The slam attack with Consecration no longer shatters Stasis Crystals.
  • Heat Wave does not activate while gliding or in mid-jump.
  • The Diamond Lance no longer shatters Stasis Crystals.
  • The Wish Bearer title has been taken away from players who had previously received it.
  • Patch notes for the update on July 16 in Destiny 2
