A new week is beginning in Destiny 2 and that means a new patch. Bungie is shutting down its servers for update 8.0.0.5 and is refreshing its loot shooter a bit. You can find out what you need to know about the downtime here.
This is what you need to know today: Bungie is shutting down its servers again for standard maintenance. This time, the Iron Banner will start again and draw its players into PvP. Before you can wave the banner, however, you must first survive a downtime. You can find out how long this will last and what will change here.
Maintenance on 02.07. – All times for server down
These times are important today: Bungie is informing its players about the exact downtime via x.com (formerly Twitter). The plan is for the servers to be unavailable for 3:15 hours today.

Also, keep in mind that third-party applications and the official Companion app may also be down for a while, preventing you from using them.

The following problems are known: There are also many problems in The Final Shape that players are complaining about. Bungie has a few on its list, but it is not known which of them will be fixed (via bungie.net). However, the following bugs could be addressed:
