Bungie Help is also working on Destiny 2 over the holidays, which is why there will be maintenance today, December 20th. MeinMMO tells you what guardians can expect during the downtime and what changes the patch brings.
This is what you need to know today: With the upcoming patch 7.3.0.4, a short but necessary period of inaccessibility awaits while developers work diligently in the background on improvements, bug fixes, and new content.
Bungie had already warned on Twitter /
There are also other patches on the list that will also fix errors in Destiny 2 before Christmas.
MeinMMO tells you how long the downtime will last, so you know exactly what is changing and when you won’t be able to play today.
This activity in Destiny 2 reveals an unusual love:
Maintenance on December 20th – All times for server down
These times are important today: Bungie informs its players about the planned downtimes via Twitter/X. The planned downtime is 2 hours and 45 minutes.
This is what the maintenance schedule looks like:
Background maintenance will begin on all platforms at 2:00 p.m.
The servers go offline at around 3:15 p.m. Players are automatically kicked out of the game.
During the downtime, Bungie will gradually roll out update 7.3.0.4 so players can download and install it on all platforms.
The shooter should be online again at 6:00 p.m. and you can log in again.
The maintenance will then continue in the background until 8:00 p.m.
This must be taken into account when dealing with downtimes: As long as background maintenance is running, there may be connection problems in the game. In addition, there may occasionally be queues when logging in, as Bungie only gradually unlocks access to the servers in order to avoid problems caused by excessive server load. It may also take longer until you are back in the game. Third-party apps and the official companion app may also not be accessible correctly for a certain period of time.
That changes with Update 7.3.0.4 in Season 23
That may change today: Any Guardian can report bugs directly to Bungie. The developer adds these and his own bugs, errors and problems to his to-do list. The things that will be fixed soon are noted on it.
The following bugs are currently on Bungie’s to-do list:
Caution: Due to an issue, Guardians should not currently create new characters during the Dawning event, otherwise any Dawning materials they have already earned will be lost.
The Scorching Wish buff continuously applies Scorch to Guardians in a variety of ways in The Coil activity.
Some legendary emotes are sorted with exotic emotes in the selection.
The health of the bubble created by the Blade of Action glaive is lower than intended.
The Stay Cool Pulse Rifle has a larger muzzle flash than intended.
Guardians will not receive some benefits of Snowball upgrades.
Some buttons are missing from the player menus, e.g. B. to send a Bungie friend request when appearing in lists.
Purchasing Gifts of the Dragon from Riven’s Lair while other players are activating the portal will result in an extremely loud noise.
Veist auto rifles can be partially rotated off-screen in the inspection view.
When auto-melee is enabled, glaives will almost always perform double melee.
The Osmosis benefit does not activate on some Scout Rifles.
Defeating Broken Knights too quickly in the Warlord’s Ruin dungeon can result in players being prevented from progressing in the encounter.
The Warlord’s Ruin flawless solo completion tracker uses an incorrect dungeon name in the description.
Weaponmaster engrams obtained do not appear in the engram tracker.
“Find Squad Finder…” appears on the friend invitation verification screen even if the Fireteam Finder is not in use.
Characters in the Fireteam Finder chat may appear somewhat blocked.
The 100,000 Point Weekly Challenge in the Twist may not reset successfully.
The “beginning” triumph for the star baker title cannot be completed. However, this will only be retroactively fixed for all players after the Dawning ends.
Player name changes are not infinitely customizable via bungie.net. Several “number guardians” continue to wait for the option to change their player name again instead of receiving the message “You do not have any name changes available”.
