Fortnite: Server status regarding maintenance
Update, 12:45 p.m.: The servers are back and the game can be started. However, don’t be surprised if you can’t play Reload as a duo yet – that won’t be possible until 3 p.m.
What time are the Fortnite servers down? Fortnite shut down its servers on June 27, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. Matchmaking was disabled shortly beforehand.
When can I play Fortnite again? The Fortnite status page (status.epicgames.com) says that maintenance will take place until 12:00 p.m. The official post on X.com also mentions a short server maintenance. We will keep you updated here.
Why are the servers down? A new patch for Fortnite is being released that brings new content into the game.

What’s in the new patch 30.20.01 for Fortnite?
These are the contents: So far, only one content is officially known: The Reload mode, which was recently added to Fortnite, is now getting a Duos variant.
This means that you can then play Reload with two people and no longer need a complete squad of four players.
When does Reload Duos start? Duo mode for Reload starts at 3:00 p.m. on June 27, 2024, so you’ll have to wait until the afternoon if you want to play Duos.
