In Fortnite, the servers are going down on all platforms today, January 23rd (PC, Mac, PS5, Xbox Series X.|S, Xbox One, Switch, Android). The maintenance work was used to load update 28.10 onto the servers.

What’s happening in Fortnite today? Epic Games is shutting down the Chapter 5 Season 1 servers to upload a new update. According to some teasers from well-known YouTubers like Ali-A or SypherPK, well-known iconic skins are now also getting Lego variants (via x.com).

Fortnite: Server Down – When and how long are they offline?
This is the downtime in the morning: According to Epic Games, the servers are expected to shut down at 10:00 a.m. German time. Matchmaking is already deactivated 30 minutes beforehand, so you can no longer search for new rounds after 9:30 a.m.
When can you play again? This is a major update. It is therefore likely that Epic Games could restart the servers at 12:00 p.m. or as late as 1:00 p.m. But this has not been confirmed.
When are the patch notes coming? Epic Games usually publishes a short list of patch notes on their website after the update. If that happens, we will list them here briefly and clearly.
What content could appear with Update 28.10?
Epic Games reveals little to no new information about upcoming content before a new update. This time, however, it is a larger patch that has already been described by leakers (via x.com). You can expect the following adjustment:
