In Fortnite, the servers are going down on all platforms today, September 26th (PC, Mac, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Switch, Android). The maintenance work will be used to load update 26.20 onto the servers.
What’s happening in Fortnite today? Epic Games is shutting down the Chapter 4 Season 4 servers to upload a new update. According to leakers, this update will unlock new skins in the shop as well as the secret skin from Season 4.

Fortnite: Server Down – When and how long are they offline?
This is the downtime in the morning: According to Epic Games, the servers are expected to shut down at 9:00 a.m. German time. Matchmaking is deactivated 30 minutes beforehand, so you can no longer search for new rounds after 8:30 a.m.
When can you play again? This is a major update. It is therefore likely that Epic Games could restart the servers at 11:00 a.m. or as late as 1:00 p.m. But this has not been confirmed.
When are the patch notes coming? Epic Games usually publishes a short list of patch notes on their website after the update. If that happens, we will list them here briefly and clearly.
