In Fortnite, the servers are going down today, August 8th, on all platforms (PC, Mac, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Switch, Android). The maintenance work will be used to load the 25.30 update onto the servers.
Update, 09:38 am: The servers have disabled their matchmaking. The server down will follow soon at 10 a.m.
What’s happening in Fortnite today? Epic Games is shutting down Chapter 4 Season 3 servers to upload a new update. According to leakers, new skins and the collaboration with the anime “Jujutsu Kaisen” should take place with this update. All information and leaks can be found here.

Fortnite: Server Down – When and how long are they offline?
This is the downtime in the morning: According to Epic Games, the servers are expected to shut down at 10:00 a.m. German time. Matchmaking is already disabled 30 minutes beforehand, so you won’t be able to search for new rounds after 9:30 a.m.
When can you play again? This is a major update. It is therefore likely that Epic Games could restart the servers at 11:00 a.m. or even at 1:00 p.m. But that is not confirmed.
When are the patch notes coming? Epic Games usually posts a short list of patch notes on their site after the update. If that happens, we will list them briefly and clearly for you here.
What content could come with update 25.30?
Epic Games reveals little to no new information about upcoming content before a new update.
