Server Down for Patch 23.20 – All important information in German

Today, January 18th, Fortnite servers are going down on all platforms (PC, Mac, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Switch, Android). The maintenance work is used to load a hotfix onto the servers.

What’s happening in Fortnite today? The servers are shut down again in Fortnite. However, this is a major update that may fix some gameplay issues and may bring new items into play. You can find out when you can gamble again with us.

Update, 10:10 am: The downtime has started and as soon as you try to log in you will be taken back to the home screen. However, an update is already available for download and has the size of 5,290 GB on the PS5.

Fortnite: Server Down – When and how long are they offline?

This is the downtime in the morning: According to Epic Games, the servers are expected to be shut down at 10:00 a.m. German time to install a hotfix. Matchmaking is already disabled 30 minutes beforehand, so you won’t be able to search for new rounds after 9:30 a.m.

When can you play again? This is a relatively large update. It is therefore likely that Epic Games could restart the servers at 11 a.m. or at 12 p.m. But that is not confirmed.

What new content does the hotfix bring?

What’s new for Battle Royale mode? Fortnite is struggling with very large and serious bugs in the game. These include the broken parkour feature and various reality enhancements not working as they should. It remains to be seen whether Epic Games can finally get the problems under control with today’s update.
