Destiny 2 has the second hotfix for Season 19. Servers will be going offline today January 18th for Hotfix 6.3.0.4 on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PC. MyMMO accompanies the server down and tells you when you can’t gamble.

What you need to know today: The servers will be shut down today for a short downtime. Bungie is tackling the current issues and eradicating them step by step. We will therefore keep you up to date and list what changes Destiny 2 expects.

Important note for Stadia users: Today, January 18, 2023, the Google Stadia servers will be shut down and Destiny 2 will no longer be playable on the platform. So, Stadia users are strongly encouraged to enable Cross Save to ensure access to their characters, items, badges, Bungie.net account, and Eververse purchases such as. B. not lose their season passes. Bungie provides information on how activation works on its website.
Today is the last chance to save your characters before Google Stadia is disabled.

Update history:

  • 18:08 – The patch notes for Hotfix 6.3.0.4 have just been published. You can find them further down in the article.
  • Stadia was also shut down with this update. This means that it is no longer possible to cross-save Destiny 2 with a Stadia account. However, Destiny 2 Stadia players who have had issues setting up Cross Save can contact Bungie.
  • Hotfix 6.3.0.4 has started rolling out to all platforms and regions. On the PC, the download is almost 100 MB in size.
  • 5:45pm – Destiny 2 servers just went offline.
  • 5:30pm – 15 minutes until maintenance.

    • Maintenance on 01/18 – All times and server down

    These times are important today: As always, the actual non-availability of the servers should only be 15 minutes today (via. bungie.net). So the time when you can’t gamble is very short.

  • At 5:00 p.m. German time, maintenance work will start in the background on all platforms.
  • From 5:45 p.m. the servers will go offline and you will be automatically kicked out of all activities.
  • The servers are scheduled to come back online around 6:00 p.m. and update 6.3.0.4 will be rolled out for all platforms. After the download you can log back into the game.
  • Continuous background maintenance will then officially end at 7:00 p.m. if everything goes smoothly.

    • Important: Even if you have downloaded the update and are back in-game, you may experience connection issues until the end of maintenance at 7:00 p.m. You may also have to expect queues when logging in.

    Also, keep in mind that third-party applications and the official companion app may not be properly accessible for a while after the update.

    Note for all Stadia users: On January 18, 2023, Stadia will be shut down and players will lose access to their Destiny 2 characters. If you want to avoid this, you have to set up Cross Save on another platform by then. Bungie has made sure that it will allow players to use their characters on linked platforms even after Stadia has closed.

    This changes with Hotfix 6.3.0.4 in Season 19

    That brings the hotfix today: After hotfix 6.3.0.4 some problems of the loot shooter could disappear into thin air. MeinMMO lists some of the issues that Bungie is already aware of and some that our readers have pointed out:

  • Players may become unable to crouch after receiving the first scanner buff in the Exotic mission “Operation: Seraph’s Shield”.
  • The progression of the exotic mission “Operation: Seraph’s Shield” cannot always be triggered. Players will then no longer be able to turn off the scanner buff and will have to start over.
  • Console players are sometimes invisible or unable to see their weapon.
  • Player name changes are not customizable through bungie.net. Players are still waiting for the option to change their player name multiple times instead of just once.
  • The Hierarchy of Claims exotic dungeon arc does not properly penetrate Hydra or Phalanx shields when combined with the Piercing Bowstring artifact armor mod.

    • If you encounter any other issues with the game, it is recommended that you report them directly to the official Bungie Help forums to bring them to the attention of the developers. Alternatively, you can leave us a comment if you are aware of other bugs in the game.
