Destiny 2 support continues to work on fixing bugs so that players can play with as little disruption as possible before the winter break. Because of that comes todayon December 15, Another update in game. We’ll tell you when the servers on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PC and Google Stadia will go offline.

What you need to know today: Soon Bungie will say goodbye to winter vacation. But before that they want to bring another update online, because there are still errors in the game that have to be solved. Hotfix 6.3.0.2 is in the starting blocks for this and that means you will be confronted with a small downtime tonight, during which you cannot gamble.

Update 6.3.0.2 on 12/15. – All times and server down

For each update, Bungie announces downtimes when players cannot gamble. We offer you this information in our article with the German times. So you can plan your gaming evening in the best possible way.

All times at a glance:

  • At 5:00 p.m. German time, maintenance work will start in the background on all platforms.
  • From 5:45 p.m. the servers will go offline and you will be automatically kicked out of all activities.
  • The servers are scheduled to come back online around 6:00 p.m. and update 6.3.0.2 will be rolled out for all platforms. After the download you can log back into the game.
  • Continuous background maintenance will then officially end at 7:00 p.m. if everything goes smoothly.

    • Important: Even if you have downloaded the update and are back in-game, you may experience connection issues until the end of maintenance at 7:00 p.m. You may also have to expect queues when logging in.

    Also, keep in mind that third-party applications and the official companion app may not be properly accessible for a while after the update.

    This changes with Update 6.3.0.2 in Season 19

    The Assassin’s Creed Season 19 armor ornaments are a crossover from Bungie and Ubisoft.

    Today’s update could be the last before Bungie’s winter break. The players therefore hope that the worst difficulties will be resolved before then.

    Current list of currently known issues:

  • Some artifact mods do not appear in the normal class items. They can only be added to the Elaborate Armor.
  • Notifications for completed Seasonal Challenges will flash but cannot be claimed. Unless Bungie fixes this, the issue will resolve itself in week 3 and/or week 5 if players are able to click away.
  • The Season 18 activity “Pirate’s Lair” will no longer be visible to players and therefore unplayable, preventing players from progressing through the seasonal content.
  • Dawning Cookie Baking Mood is not dropping correctly from all activities.
  • The final step of the Cookie Delivery Helper quest requires players to master Eve’s Holiday Oven. However, this quest step does not grant any additional reward.
  • The Exotic Scout Rifle “Jade Rabbit” is currently disabled because its Exotic effect could also be transferred to other weapons to deal headshot damage on body hits.

    • Destiny 2: First Exo deactivated in Season 19 thanks to a very curious bug

  • The Unstoppable Hand Cannon mod activates the Unstoppable perk over and over again when aiming down any weapon, causing an audio loop.
  • Players sometimes get stuck in the lasers in Europa Heist battlefield.
  • Player name changes are not customizable through bungie.net. Players are still waiting for the option to change their player name multiple times instead of just once.

    • If you encounter any other issues in the game, it is recommended that you report them directly through the official Bungie Help forums to make the developers aware of them as well. Alternatively, you can leave us a comment if you are aware of other bugs in the game.

    This is the further roadmap for Season 19: In addition to the seasonal story activities, the first “Trials of Orisis” is already coming up in Destiny 2 this weekend.
