Fortnite servers are going down on Friday, March 10th on all platforms (PC, Mac, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Switch, Android). The maintenance work will be used to load the update for Chapter 4 Season 2 onto the servers.
When is Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 coming? Epic Games dates the server down for Chapter 4 Season 2 to Friday, March 10th at 08:00 GMT. However, it is not yet known when they will go online again so that you can gamble again.
It could be that the downtime could last from a few hours to a few days. That always depends on the size and the problems that the implementation of the update entails.
More information about downtime and leaks can be found later in the article. Should dates or information change, we will update this article for you, so stay tuned.
Fortnite: Server Down – When and how long are they offline?
This is the downtime in the morning: According to Epic Games, the servers are expected to be shut down at 8:00 a.m. German time to install a hotfix. Matchmaking is already disabled 30 minutes beforehand, so you won’t be able to search for new rounds after 7:30 a.m.
When can you play again? This is a relatively large update. It is therefore likely that Epic Games could restart the servers at 1:00 p.m. or at 3:00 p.m. But it could also be that the servers are paralyzed for several days. However, nothing has been confirmed yet.
We will update this post as soon as a start time is known or we have new information.
When are the patch notes coming? Epic Games usually publishes a short list of patch notes on their website after the update. If that happens, we will list them briefly and clearly for you here.
