This is what you need to know today: Bungie has announced a downtime for September 3rd for Destiny 1 & 2. Since the announcement seems incomplete, players are already wondering whether the maintenance is only running in the background or whether players will also be kicked from the servers.
The long maintenance may be for Bungie to activate or prepare for their 10-year anniversary for Destiny. We’ll be there to support you during this downtime.
Maintenance on 03.09. – All times for server down
These times are important today: Bungie will inform its players about the exact downtime via x.com (formerly Twitter). The servers are scheduled to be in maintenance mode for 8:00 hours today.

The following problems are known: There are also many problems in The Final Shape that players are complaining about. Bungie has a few on its list, but it is not known which of them will be fixed (via bungie.net). However, the following bugs could be addressed:
