A single accident involving a motorcycle has occurred in central Uppsala on Wednesday morning.
Police and ambulance were called to the scene.
– It initially started with the public calling in and telling them about a motorcycle driver who was driving too fast, says Roland Komaromi, the police’s spokesperson in the Mitt region.
– Shortly afterwards we were alerted that the accident had occurred, Roland continues.
The MC driver has been taken to the University Hospital in Uppsala, the police write on their website. According to the emergency services, the driver is seriously injured.
– We have seized the motorbike and are talking to witnesses at the scene, says Roland Kamaromi.
