Bluefish from the Baltic Sea was sent into space

The bluefish in the Baltic Sea only reproduces when there is a full or new moon. Scientists don’t know why, but suspect the answer lies in space. Therefore, the seaweed has been sent on a space flight for the first time, reports SVT.

Researcher Lena Kautsky, also called “Aunt Tång”, saw her dream come true on Tuesday – the blue rod was sent 250 kilometers into space from the space base outside Kiruna, high enough for weightlessness.

– What I have dreamed of for over 30 years is to see if the seaweed can reproduce on a space station in microgravity. Then we have cracked the mystery, she tells the channel.

Confidence in Dadgostar is plummeting

Bomb alarm at recycling – where pieces of wood
