A fight broke out in a common laundry room in an apartment building in Lödöse in the municipality of Lilla Edets on Tuesday evening.
According to the police, disagreements about washing time must have been the triggering factor.
A 35-year-old woman is suspected of serious assault. According to the police, among other things, she knocked over another woman and then pounded her head on the floor. The extent of the damage is unclear.
After the fight, she left the scene but was later arrested at an address in Vänersborg, the police say.
The other woman, who is 25 years old, is said to have used “some violence”, but according to the police, it should have been for the purpose of defending herself.
