With the novel adaptation The Silence of the Lambs, director Jonathan Demme has made one of the most iconic serial killer films ever. This is mainly due to the dynamic between Jodie Foster as young FBI candidate Clarice Starling and Anthony Hopkins, who plays Hannibal Lecter one of the most legendary killers in film history might.

The sequel Hannibal by Ridley Scott was released in 2001 and is now streaming with a Netflix subscription. Hopkins is back in his signature role, as well as a particularly disgusting scene that will be burned into your head forever.
