Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has been hospitalized in Bali in connection with the G20 meeting, AP reports, citing official sources in Indonesia.
Sources to AP say it is about problems with the heart.
Lavrov is representing Russia at the meeting after President Vladimir Putin announced he did not plan to attend in person.
Reuters announces that the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs denies the information that is being spread and believes that it is “fake news” and that Lavrov only visited the hospital for a routine examination.
