SERGE LAMA. On RTL, the singer Serge Lama announces that he is about to retire, after the publication of a last album, “Aimer”.
At 79, Serge Lama announces that he will soon be retiring. The singer, who is about to release a new album, To like, Friday, October 7, explains to RTL that the latter will, precisely, be the last. “There is a moment when things stop. You have to know that you are getting old. My body gives me a lot of pain. I have a lot of problems inherent in the passage of time. There is a moment, you have to know s stop rather than being stopped by things. So I decided it was over”, explains the singer with the red microphone.
And for Serge Lama, at almost 80 years old, there is no question of going back on this decision. “I’ve been on tour and I won’t be able to anymore. It’s too hard. I won’t be able to do that anymore. It’s a whole set of things that makes this my last album (…) I’m I’m thrown into it, I wrote songs, I think, which are quite interesting. That way, I won’t have any regrets”, confides the singer.
So this last album, To likeSerge Lama wants it to be as “mythical” as I am sickhis album originally called Redreleased in 1973. “It’s a record that talks about love, I am sick is a love song and the whole disc contains almost only songs that talk about love”, promises the singer on RTL.
