Serbian international midfielder from Stade Rennais, Nemanja Matic, has signed with Lyon for two and a half years, until June 30, 2026, as part of a transfer worth €2.6 million. euros, OL announced on Saturday. Aged 35, Matic (1.94 m), left-handed defensive midfielder, has solid experience with more than 600 professional matches and 48 selections for the national team. After debuting in Serbia at Lazarevac in 2005 then Kosice in Slovakia, he played in the Netherlands, at Vitesse Arnehm, before Benfica Lisbon and Chelsea (2014-2017), with whom he won three Premier Leagues, an FA Cup and a League Cup.
