After Sylvester Stallone had built up an entire franchise with his six Rocky films, he passed the boxing baton to Michael B. Jordan in the 2010s. As Adonis Creed, he earned his own laurels in the ring with Rocky Balboa as his mentor. Now the latest film in the series, Creed III, is showing on television for the first time.

In part 3, boxer Adonis Creed (Michael B. Jordan) has reached the peak of his career. Things are going well both in the ring and with his family, wife Bianca (Tessa Thompson) and daughter Amara (Mila Davis-Kent).
But then Damian Anderson (Jonathan Majors), an old childhood friend, appears and challenges him to a fight. It quickly becomes clear that this once considered a boxing genius competitor is not only a talented fighter, but a settle old bill wants. And that puts Adonis in real danger.

Creed III
Although the original Rocky star does not appear in front of the camera, Sylvester Stallone as producer in the credits. However, he made it clear to THR beforehand that the film “took a different direction”as it was his philosophy of “beaten heroes” He personally thought the sequel was too “dark place” and he believed that people already had enough darkness in their lives.
Rocky and Creed: These films belong to the boxing series
In addition to the six Rocky films by Sylvester Stallone, there are three Creed films about the boxer son of his former rival Adonis Creed. While Stallone appeared in the first two Creed films, Creed 3 was the first film to be shot without the original star.
Regardless of Stallone’s regrets about the direction of Part 3, the story of Creed III was an organic decision for the storyline: Michael B. Jordan’s character was finally allowed to stand on your own two feet. Instead of continuing to shoulder Stallone’s legacy (which the film still bears in its title), the sequel was able to focus entirely on Adonis’ career and past. Creed III will be released on Sunday, September 1, 2024 at 8:15 p.m. on ProSieben and will celebrate its free TV premiere there. The latest Rocky spin-off will be shown on TV for the very first time. Unfortunately, there will be no repeat on TV.
