North Korea has fired several missiles into the Yellow Sea between China and the Korean Peninsula, South Korea’s military says.
The launch took place at 4 a.m. Saturday, local time.
Military tensions in the area have increased in the past year, in step with more and more North Korean robot tests and joint military exercises between the US and South Korea. Three days ago North Korea fired two ballistic missiles and last week a long-range missile was fired.
