It was at the end of March this year that a man was found dead in the colony area. Next to him lay a bloody ax and knife.
Four people were charged on suspicion of being involved in the crime, including the man in his 30s who was suspected of the murder itself.
On Monday, the Nyköping district court announced its verdict. The man is, according to the court, guilty of the crime and sentenced to 17 years in prison. He himself has denied that he would have killed the man.
The other three are completely cleared of the suspicions of aggravated protection of a criminal and aiding and abetting murder.
