A man in western Sweden is sentenced to a suspended sentence and 14,400 kroner in fines for illegal threats, after a fight with his partner, writes TTELA.

The couple had agreed on New Year’s Eve 2021 that he would give up cannabis and she would give up alcohol when the new year began.

But when the man then discovered that the partner had thrown away his cannabis, he became angry and threatened to kill her. The police were called to the scene with the help of a silent alarm in the couple’s residence.

Through the silent alarm, the man’s threats could also be recorded. The man has previously been unpunished and thus receives a suspended sentence.
