The YouTuber Rezo (30) had a date with 17 women for a video. He watches himself on Twitch and can barely look. Because for him, the format is obviously a gauntlet run so as not to put his foot in it.
What was that situation? The “Dates” took place as part of a video series by YouTuber Sebastian “Rewinside” Meyer.
In 3 rounds, the participant is confronted with 15 – in Rezo’s case 17 – candidates from which he should ultimately choose one. As Rezo emphasizes, it’s not about finding love: everyone involved is aware that it’s just a video and that it’s all “just for fun”.
After the Twitch newcomer LetsHugo, Rezo, known to many as the “destroyer of the CDU”, took part in the format. The whole action was just terribly uncomfortable from start to finish. For the maximum “cringe” factor, the 30-year-old reacts to the video on Twitch together with his viewers.

Rezo faces 17 women in speed dating and can’t figure it out
How did the big speed date go for Rezo? Before it even starts, the streamer warns his viewers: It’s going to be really uncomfortable, but that’s what the format is for. In the first round, Rezo only has a few seconds to decide whether he wants to take a candidate to the next round. He is only allowed to let almost half of the 17 women progress.
The YouTuber is already visibly overwhelmed by the first candidate: Because she opens the conversation with the question of whether he could destroy her just like the CDU. Rezo says in his reaction that he was so excited and that was the first thing he heard.
The 30-year-old is visibly embarrassed and doesn’t really know what to say about it. So he asks the candidate about her place of residence, which she had already introduced herself with – it doesn’t get much better in the 54-minute video.

Just don’t do anything wrong
Why is Rezo so uncomfortable? Apart from the fact that the initial situation is already uncomfortable for the 30-year-old, there are also a number of aggravating factors for him. So he’s very careful about how he comes across in the video.
Already here the impression arises that the content creator has innumerable different ways in his head how the whole thing could go wrong and how he could look bad. He seems to be trying to forestall any possible critics.
The design of the second and third round is then designed so that there is physical contact between Rezo and the remaining candidates, and here too the content creator is very careful about his external impact.
He analyzes the women’s body language carefully to show that nothing happened that the candidate did not want: Yes, he would have had his hand on her thigh, but she would always put her hand on his lay it down and hold it in place.
In addition, he is simply very “touchy”, which has nothing to do with flirting. He would also put a hand on the shoulder of friends when they were speaking. So the YouTuber does everything not to come across as overbearing.

What is the verdict? In the end, Rezo is quite satisfied with his performance. It was uncomfortable, but it could have been worse, the streamer said. It was important to him not to appear intrusive or overly concerned, and he probably managed to do that quite well.
There is also praise from the spectators: in addition to being ashamed of others, the fans notice how respectfully Rezo treated the candidates.
After all: In order to have an unpleasant speed date with 17 women, they have to have already agreed in principle to such a date. And even if Rezo obviously finds it difficult to sort out participants, it is probably more pleasant than being rejected by 8 women at the same time:
