Senior disco with a 55-year-old limit makes Landskrona roar

Leksand extended the winning streak beat AIK

Louise Östberg in Landskrona felt that she wanted to have her own evening with like-minded people – and not younger people when she went out dancing. The problem? There was no such place in the city. Louise therefore contacted the club owner of the local club “Bulldog” and asked if it was possible to create a senior disco where the age limit was 55.

– I really want the age limit to be higher, but we have to start somewhere, says Louise Östberg.

The club owner said yes and on Wednesday 22 February there was a disco premiere. After Five was on site to take the pulse. Sonja Larsson, who lives in a nursing home, was keen on going out and dancing.

– As long as you are healthy and able, you should have fun, she says.

“What a move it was,” exclaims Louise Östberg when she is interviewed by Efter Fem på vällkvisten. Friend Anne Björkman was also satisfied.

– I could imagine a couple more hours, she says.
