In Senegal, the divorce is recorded between the opposition coalition Yewwi Askan Wi and the Taxawu Senegal party, of Khalifa Sall. In a terse statement released on Wednesday, the coalition, which includes Ousmane Sonko’s Pastef, denounced a “violation of the charter”, “acts of defiance” and “treason”.
