The final episode of The Walking Dead will air in a few days. And after years of dawdling, the series nears the end with enormous urgency and excitement fueling the anticipation of the finale, which still has a few questions to answer. Will Rick show up? and who will die in the final battle?

Ahead of the airing of The Walking Dead Season 11, Episode 24, US broadcaster AMC recently released a slew of photos that offer some exciting glimpses into the highly-anticipated finale. But one picture reveals a little too much. In fact the possible death of a character.
The Walking Dead: Was Luke’s death accidentally revealed in the finale?
At first glance, the spoiler may not be noticeable. In one picture we see Carol (Melissa McBride), Princess (Paola Lázaro) and Maggie (Lauren Cohan) heavily armed huge horde of undead which descends on the Commonwealth and encircles the survivors in a narrow alley.

But if you look closely, you can see a well-known character lying on the ground behind them, surrounded by corpses: hatch (Dan Fogler). Is the member of the group around Magna, Connie and Yumiko already dead? Or do the characters stand protectively around their unconscious friend?

Little hope for Luke’s survival
The picture raises some questions. And on Twitter, numerous fans are already sure that Luke’s shocking death was spoiled here. Meanwhile, the broadcaster AMC has that Spoiler image removed from the press page.
Season 9 cast member Luke has just made a surprise return after an absence of more than two years. Maybe only to be killed straight away? Luke’s death wouldn’t come as a complete surprise. He died much earlier in The Walking Dead comics during the Whisperer War. His severed head landed on Alpha’s border fence.
When is The Walking Dead season 11 episode 24 on Disney+?
The final episode of The Walking Dead’s final season airs on… Monday 21 November 2022 released early this morning on Disney+*. The end of the series will be a little over 60 minutes (90 minutes including commercials). Episode 24 will be broadcast in the USA shortly beforehand on November 21 at 3:00 a.m. German time.
