SEGA unveils the content of the first DLC, there are quite a few new

SEGA unveils post launch program for 2023

Released last November, Sonic Frontiers unfortunately did not experience the critical success worthy of its stature. Open world too empty, limited gameplay mechanics, uninteresting adventure, the flaws were vigorously pointed out by testers and players, who were nevertheless more conciliatory with the last adventure of the blue hedgehog. Despite this, SEGA has planned content for the ever-present community, with the arrival of a first DLC which will obviously enrich the content of the game. We learn of the arrival of new features, in particular a jukebox, the photo mode as well as new challenge modes. Here is everything in detail:

New challenge modes: After completing the main story, you will be able to access new challenge modes, Cyberspace Challenge and Turbo Battle, via the title screen. Cyberspace Challenge is a time trial mode where players must complete a series of cyberspace levels as fast as possible. Additionally, Sonic Frontiers will also feature Turbo-battle mode, a timed mode where players fight numerous enemies in a row, such as guardians and titans.

Picture mode: To keep memories of your best moments on the Starfall Islands, you will be able to access the photo mode in the pause menu, which will bring up a camera.

Jukeboxes: You can listen to your favorite Sonic music anywhere on the Starfall Islands with the new jukebox. 53 music tracks are available. You will have immediate access to 13 of them and you can unlock the remaining 40 by collecting musical memories on each island.

SEGA informs us that two more content updates are planned later this year, including new features, challenges, playable characters and more.
