SEGA has sent us an official statement in which it lifts the veil on the post-launch program of Sonic Frontiers for 2023. According to what we are told, no less than three free updates are planned. The first will contain the “Jukebox” mode, the “Photo” mode and new challenges. As for the second update, it will celebrate Sonic’s birthday (June 23, the day of the release of the very first episode of the series?), a new Koco and challenges in the open area. Finally, the third and final update will introduce additional characters (namely Tails, Knuckles, and Amy) and a new story.
Of course, SEGA promises to communicate more details (including the dates on which these updates will be deployed) later. In the meantime, owners of Sonic Frontiers will be able to get the Festive Outfit (which we let you admire above) from December 21st. For the record, the game has been available since November 8 on Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch. Moreover, our test is at this address.
