When all children and many parents are in the schoolyard, the time has finally come. Sinterklaas and his helpers arrive at KBS Carolus not by steamer, but by fire truck. Enthusiastically the children, many of them with their faces painted and in Peter’s suits, start to sing. Santa is having fun. “Our Sinterklaas loves to sing,” says Miss Ans. “He always wants to sing first, before he starts talking.”
