County Governor Marita Ljung, flanked by Mikael Westin, former municipal councilor in Ragunda and Olov Amelin, county antiquarian at Jamtli, cut the ribbons in front of the audience on the twist stand at Döda fallet on Saturday afternoon.
The stand was not full, but those who were there were all the more enthusiastic, despite the heat.
Second geopark in the country
Indalsälven’s geopark is the second in the country and covers the entire municipality of Ragunda. This includes, among other things, the nature reserve around Döda fallet, which has been equipped with new ropes, information and a new family loop.
At the same time as the inauguration, it was also celebrated that the twist doctor at Döda fall turns 30 years old.
