See the strength of the dogs at the SM in dog rescue in Jönköping

There are 30 dogs of the Newfoundland, Landseer and Leonberger breeds competing.

– The dogs retrieve boats, rescue people in distress in the water with lifebuoys and, together with their handlers, pull lifeless people in, says Annika Fischerström, who is chairperson of the Swedish Newfoundland Dog Club, which is the competition organizer.

Each movement is scored by the judges and it takes approximately 15-20 minutes for each dog to perform all competition movements.

In the clip above, you see how the dogs save people in Rocksjön.
