Another celebrity has taken off his mask Masked Singer Sweden.
This time it was the Popcorn that had to make itself known.
– You see absolutely nothing in that mask, she tells TV4.
In Friday’s episode of Masked Singer Sweden it was Popcornet’s turn to give thanks in the competition, take off his mask and show his true self. The panel’s final guesses landed on everything from Petra Mede to Alexandra Rapaport – but it was Pernilla Wahlgren’s guess on Elsa Billgren that turned out to be completely correct.
For TV4, Elsa tells that she was not hard to persuade when she was asked to participate in the program.
– I thought for a couple of days but then I felt that I have to do this, it’s too exciting. I can’t be a bore! And I’m very glad I dared, says Elsa.
– It’s a once in a life time chance to do all this at the same time. And with a mask on!
“Absolutely impossible to imagine what it would be like”
And taking part was not at all what she imagined – although it was difficult to have any expectations at all.
– It was completely impossible to imagine what it would be like. I mostly thought it was a perfect way to spend the winter instead of having the snow in the scarf sideways doing something challenging and just having super fun, says Elsa.
Her main goal was not to fall off the stage, which she managed well.
– It was so very difficult to do all that with the mask on, with the whole box that was screwed onto me. You can see absolutely nothing in that mask. So I thought I’d take in just enough so I don’t fall – my God it could make headlines. But I didn’t break any bones! I managed it without falling and that was my goal, she says and adds:
– I think it’s so nice, somehow you have to respect the time you get from the viewers who follow this. You have a responsibility to do your best.
