The great promise of Finnish skiing Niko Anttola unfortunately crashed in the Holmenkollen 50 km classic race. However, Anttola fought for 49th place.

– That race didn’t go to that. I quickly got up. There’s nothing to it. Very well caught the group quickly, Anttola briefly acknowledged the situation.

Anttola was really tired during the TV interview.

– There were all kinds of things in that race… I’m so tired that I can’t say anything sensible. Maybe the feeling has been better sometimes.

Anttola, 21, was an anchor in the Finnish relay team that won the World Cup silver a year ago. A year ago, he also won the World Youth Championship gold in the 10-kilometer freestyle skiing competition and silver in the 20-kilometer traditional style of skiing.
