Pittsburgh had to bow to the Carolina in their home trough for the NHL round with goals 3-4 (0-1, 2-1, 1-2) late Sunday.
The Finns were well represented in Carolina’s crew. Jesperi Kotkaniemi opened the Hurricanes goals in the opening round, finishing their 11th full-time goal in front of the goal.
In the third installment in turn Teuvo Sharp discovered by superiority a pair of radars in the center of Pittsburgh Square Sebastian Ahon, who directly knocked out a fourth-place hit for Carolina. Aho has added 22 + 30 = 52 points in his 46 matches and is 16th on the NHL.
Antti Raanta defeated the 100th victory fight of his NHL career and was also one of Carolina’s important links in 31 of his fights. Kasperi Kapanen was left in the ranks of Pittsburgh this time without power.
