The leisure leader at the English school in Karlstad is suspected of secretly photographing a total of 166 young girls over eight years.
Now the prosecutor is demanding 4.5 years in prison for the man who is suspected of serious child pornography offences.
– I feel so terribly hurt because he was a person at school that I liked to talk to and felt safe with, says a former student.
On Thursday, the closing arguments were held in the high-profile case where an after-school leader at the English School in Karlstad is suspected of serious child pornography offences.
– I have understood that many who were present perceived that it was pressured, says the prosecutor Marcus Nyman, who has requested four and a half years in prison for the man.
Prosecutor Elisabeth Massi Fritz, who, together with Sara Larsson, represents 164 of the total 166 crime victims, thinks it is important that the court highlights that the crime is serious and serious and has many aggravating circumstances.
“Furthermore, we believe that the dissemination that has taken place is serious and is a permanent violation of the children’s personal integrity.” she writes in an email.
The verdict itself will come on September 26, but for many of the 166 plaintiffs, many of them children, the nightmare is far from over.
– I will probably never be able to let go of this completely, feel safe at school or fully trust my teachers, says a claimant, a 16-year-old girl and former student at the school who wishes to remain anonymous.
The leisure leader, who no longer lives in Karlstad, has, according to the investigation, surreptitiously filmed students with his work cellphone during school hours for eight years. He is also said to have manipulated the material and spread it further in child pornography forums as well as filmed himself masturbating to pictures of the students.

Student: “Disgusting me now”
The anonymous girl, who is now 16, describes the after-school leader as very talkative and says that he often sought her and her friends out during the breaks.
– He was almost always involved in various activities that we did, it disgusts me now because he stood there and watched us all when we were active in the school yard. Some pictures are also taken from the schoolyard when I was playing table tennis and moving around, she says.
The girl describes how her whole world came crashing down the day she learned she was one of all the victims.
– I couldn’t go to school because I just panicked when I entered the area where this happened, I no longer felt safe there, she says.

The visit to the police was tough for the girl, who describes how she panicked and couldn’t breathe when it was read out what the material contained.
– After that, I no longer wanted to continue with the sport I had been doing since I was little. I was afraid that more men would do the same and see me as a sexual object. I looked at my body in a completely different way than before and panicked when I looked in the mirror.
She goes on to tell how she threw away the clothes she had on that were in the pictures, when it now felt like she couldn’t breathe in them.
– Today I still find it difficult to be myself because I’m afraid that someone who saw me on the porn site will look me up because it said both first and last name. I am constantly on edge now and am always worried.
Some of the images that made up the man’s material are images from the girl’s private Instagram. He has also taken pictures from her mother’s Instagram.

“Saw his look when I closed my eyes”
The girl was together with her mother and several other plaintiffs in the district court on Tuesday. She describes that it was terrible to see and hear the man again.
– Hearing his voice again was unpleasant. The first evening after the trial I lay awake all night thinking. I didn’t dare close my eyes because the only thing I saw was the look he had during the trial.
The girl chose to be part of the trial, even though it was difficult, in the hope of getting some sort of closure to the whole thing. Now she hopes that the verdict will give her vindication.
– I want compensation. I hope all of us children get compensation, she says.
Aftonbladet has received the girl’s quote via plaintiff’s attorney Elisabet Massi Fritz, who represents her.
