In a letter to the chief public prosecutor, the family indicated that they are afraid that ‘an innocent victim will fall under the care and responsibility of Jeuken again’. By this they refer to the liquidations of lawyer Derk Wiersum, confidential adviser Peter R. de Vries and Reduan, the brother of the key witness. “I am very sorry to hear that you do not feel safe,” writes Jeuken in a response to the family.
